Monster Hunter Wilds is doing something big—well, at least for the fans who’ve been clamoring for it. So, starting July 23, 2025, both of its Arch-tempered fights are sticking around for good. No more of this limited-time nonsense that I definitely missed because, let’s be honest, who even keeps track of these things?
Rewind a bit. The first Arch-tempered beastie, the Rey Dau, crashed into our lives back on April 30, 2025, during that whole “Silent Flash” event. I mean, good luck if you missed it. Stronger, faster, new attacks—basically like Rey Dau on a caffeine binge. But, like everything fun, it poofed on May 14, 2025. Poofed! So, if you were chilling under a rock during that time, tough luck. Until now, that is.
Anyway—or wait, what was I saying? Oh yeah, thanks to some vocal fans (you know who you are), Capcom got it together. In some tweet—they’re all blending together these days—they said they’d make both the Rey Dau and the soon-to-make-its-grand-entrance Uth Duna fight permanent fixtures. Expect this at the “Festival of Accord: Flamefete.” Fancy name for an update, yes?
Let’s not forget—there’s more. Capcom’s teasing with, “Oh, maybe we’ll keep more events permanent.” Like, please, just do it already with events like “Kut-Ku the Forest Conqueror.” My inner hunter’s waiting.
Gotta say, it feels like Capcom’s actually listening—creating more frenzied hunts, tying it all with cool missions, and never a dull moment. Add to that their crossover gigs, like the one with Street Fighter. It’s like they doubled down on giving hunters something to chew on.
Oh, and if you missed Monster Hunter Wilds dropping on February 28, 2025—what were you doing? ESRB says it’s T for Teen because, well, I guess fighting massive beasts is a teen thing now? Who knew.
