Okay, so I guess it’s like the weekend’s here, and suddenly there’s a bajillion deals staring me in the face. I’m talking like, all the deals. For May 3rd, in case you’re counting. And yeah, let’s dive right in.
So, Monster Hunter Wilds. Down to $54.99. And why do I remember this? Maybe ’cause I tried playing it once and totally messed up. Who knows. Anyway, you can snag it on PS5 at Woot and save yourself 15 bucks. And it’s supposed to be the most user-friendly one yet. They’ve got this Focus Mode (sounded cool?), and our oh-so-expert reviewers gave it an 8/10. They think fights are fun but not “challengey” enough, whatever that means.
Then there’s the iPad. The 11th Gen one, for $299. Weirdly feels like a steal. Or I dunno, maybe I’m just easily swayed by shiny tech stuff. It’s got that A16 chip, and you can use a pencil with it, which I guess makes drawing circles on a screen feel artsy. Not ready to drop cash on an Air or Pro? This might be your jam, I guess.
Next up, Ghost of Yotei. Not to be confused with sushi ’cause, believe me, I’ve made that mistake. Anyway, it’s coming out for pre-order on Amazon, and it’s all set in 1603 Hokkaido. Sounds like a revenge plot — think Ghost of Tsushima vibes, with some serious samurai drama. Only the brave need apply.
Visions of Mana is, like, $34.99 now? Oh gosh, finally on sale after forever. I think it’s the first Mana in two decades? This feels wild. We said it was an 8/10 too, which sounds repetitive ’cause apparently I just throw numbers around. But, yeah, it’s “modern” now, whatever that means.
And the Xbox Series X – for $479.99. Can you believe it? Like, it’s getting a price hike soon to $599.99, so this feels like getting back at inflation for a hot minute. Who knows when deals like that will pop back. Maybe never? Maybe next week? Surprise!
Oh, and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. There’s not one, not two, but nine films bundled in this — for $10 on PS4 right now. If you love LEGO, or Star Wars, or both, there’s no point in overthinking. Seriously.
Finally, Super Mario Party Jamboree is down to $44.99. With all the Nintendo Switch 2 stuff happening, maybe this is a sign to upgrade your collection. Save some dough and grab it off Woot.
So there you have it. Deals, feels, and maybe a bit chaos. Enjoy!
