Hey, so I’ve been kinda glued to Zenless Zone Zero these past few weeks. Not intentionally, but you know how it goes. They just had this whole shindig celebrating their first anniversary. Or did they? Feels like they kind of jumped the gun. Anyway, they dropped it on Xbox and rolled out this massive 2.0 update.
Now, if you’ve been in the loop with this sci-fi RPG world, you’d probably know the real birthday bash doesn’t hit until July. But, eh, who’s gonna gripe about fresh content and a storyline that won’t quit?
Time’s been zipping by, and suddenly here we are—bam!—July 4, the game’s true-blue one-year party. Of course, HoYoverse is all in with another chunk of content. But plot twist alert: it’s just a teaser. That 2.1 update, the one they’ve called The Impending Crash of Waves (sounds intense, right?), isn’t landing till July 16.
This update? Oh boy. It’s introducing a whole new faction and a couple of shiny areas. Spook Shack is diving into this watery theme alongside Sailume Bay. Oh, and Fantasy Resort… I’m imagining all kinds of beachy chaos, but I digress.
We’re stepping into Season 2, Chapter 2 now. Sailume Bay is where the main action unfolds. Fantasy Resort is the spot for all the summer party vibes. You keeping up? Cause I’m barely hanging on here myself.
Ah, and the new crew members—how could I overlook them? Ukinami Yuzuha, chucking sweet bomb candies with her tankui buddy. It’s as nuts as it sounds. Then there’s Alice Thymefield, swinging her sword around like it’s second nature. Pretty sure she slices through her morning toast with that finesse.
Later, when this 2.1 thing finally drops, there’s gonna be this new Bangboo named Miss Esme. High expectations, right? Plus, some familiar faces, Void Hunter Miyabi and Yanagi, are making a comeback. Frost and electric vibes, respectively.
Seriously, if you haven’t looked at the Zenless Zone Zero July codes lately, now’s probably not the worst time to catch up. Just saying.
And, uh, I guess that’s the gist of it? Did I miss anything? Maybe I did. The details are all over the place, like my thoughts.
