Xbox Game Pass—yeah, it just kinda keeps chugging along in 2025, mixing up big-shot games with those oldies but goodies. Seriously, sometimes you just gotta wonder what their secret sauce is—unless you don’t care, which is fair.
So, Doom: The Dark Ages—boom, there it is. Like, the big cheese. It’s number three in a line-up of Doom reboots. Crazy to think it all got its second wind back in 2016. I still remember that—sort of. And then there’s Revenge of the Savage Planet, popping up soon. It’s this bright, quirky sci-fi shooter that you can actually play on the couch with a buddy. Might sound cliché, but those games are kinda like unicorns lately. Who knew?
Anyway, if you’re curious—or if you’re not, that’s cool too—here’s the lowdown on what’s hitting Xbox Game Pass in early May 2025. On the seventh, a bunch of new games join the usual gang. Then, come the fifteenth… well, five games say their goodbyes forever. Why do they leave? Got me. Politics, maybe? Or just a lot of back-end stuff that’s over my head.
