Alright, so there’s this game, Elden Ring Nightreign. Launched late May, everyone was hyped. Why wouldn’t they be, right? It’s a follow-up to this big shot, 2022’s Elden Ring, which basically everyone with a console knows about. Now, in Nightreign, you get to choose from these eight badasses called Nightfarers. Think of them like classes or something. Anyway, your job is to power up over two virtual days for some epic face-off against these terrifying Night Lord bosses. Gave me chills just thinking about it.
So, the world of Nightreign is shrinking. Literally! It’s called Limveld, and it’s packed with adventures. Wanna level up faster? Just clear out camps and beat down field bosses. Boom, instant runes at a site of grace. But here’s the kicker—when you level up, the game throws numbers for base stats, HP, FP, and stamina. The usual suspects. No vigor or strength stats showing up. Are they hiding something? Every level-up boosts your character, sure, but it’s like a mystery how it all pans out. Each character gets their own little bonus. Not much clarity there. It’s like they want to keep players guessing.
Oh! And this YouTuber, Zullie the Witch (cool name, right?), did some datamining magic. She dropped a video, breaking down how leveling works. Charts and all. Big reveal: levels 13, 14, and even max level 15? They kinda suck. One point for all that grind? Seriously?
The strategy’s getting a shake-up. If you ask me, get to level 12 or 13, then maybe chill on leveling. Instead, spend those runes on smithing stones. Upgrade those weapons! Why sweat blood and tears for level 15 when you could handle the Night Lords just fine at 13 or 14? Makes you wonder what the devs were thinking. Plus, maxing out is no walk in the park. You’ve got 14 minutes in-game. Better use every second wisely.
Oh yeah, FromSoftware’s got plans for more game goodies like characters and bosses, maybe new maps. So, are they gonna mess with levels again? Will they make 13 to 15 less meh? We gotta wait. Game’s fresh, only a few weeks old. FromSoftware likes to take their sweet time. You’ll have to sit tight to see where it all goes.
Hope that made sense! Probably got sidetracked somewhere in there. Sorry, it happens.
