Yeah, something wild like that since early June. Apparently, its older sibling, the OG Switch, didn’t even come close in its first month back in 2017. Go figure.
Anyway, they’re saying it’s the biggest launch for any Nintendo gizmo ever. I mean, they’re already a fifth into their ambitious 15-million-unit goal by March 2026. Sounds like a lot, but hey, they’re off to a flying start. Except, of course, there were a few, let’s say, hiccups.
Picture this, a GameStop somewhere in New York. Customers left scratching their heads (and maybe their screens) because, get this, receipts were stapled right onto the boxes. Right THROUGH them. Madness, right? Fortunately, those folks got replacements. Lucky them.
And across the Atlantic? UK folks noticed a bit of a packaging mishap. Their boxes showed up unsealed — tape probably too weak or something. Honestly, it’s those little things that make you go, “Seriously?”
