Alright, so here’s the thing about “Into the Radius 2″—the sequel, you know? It’s been lurking over on PC VR since that early teasing—eh, release—happened way back in July 2024. And guess what? CM Games is finally letting it escape onto Quest this month. Can you believe it?
So, mark your calendars—or, wait, maybe don’t—because it’s hitting Quest 3 and that fancy Quest 3S, right, this May 21st. Although this ride won’t be fully ready until next year sometime. Like its older sibling—Into the Radius from 2020, remember that?—we’re all about wandering through these creepy, end-of-the-world type wastelands. You got those creepy ‘Pechorsk’ things, anomalies—or whatever nightmare fuel they are—lurking around every corner.
And oh yeah, real-world guns, tactical doodads, and these mystical artifact things are all in the mix. The big kahuna here though? Co-op mode, baby! Two-player shenanigans now, planning to level up to a four-person squad later. Gonna be chaotic fun, right?
But just don’t expect to, like, share the fun between PC VR and Quest 3. CM Games just gave us a hard “nah” on that front. Kinda disappointing, but hey, that’s life.
The buzz around bringing it to the VR big leagues is off the charts. Numbers? Oh man, earlier this year, CM Games shared that Into the Radius 2 pulled in close to three million bucks. And over half of that cash rolled in during the first week. Not too shabby, huh?
Nope, there’s no Horizon Store listing yet—seriously, is anyone else impatient? But if you’re eager to dive in and want to get a jump on your apocalypse survival skills, you might wanna check out the game’s explainer. It’s got all sorts of info on weapons, gear, and other random tips for your journey into the Radius madness.
There you have it. It’s coming soon, it’s gonna be wild, and it’s got that apocalyptic charm we weirdly love. Or hate. You know, both.
