Whoa, talking about Alien: Rogue Incursion going all “Evolved Edition” on us for PC and PS5. Yeah, Survios decided to toss the VR goggles for a sec and hit the flatscreen scene. Seriously, I remember when they first dropped it on PSVR 2 and PC VR. Reviews were kind of all over the place — people were like, are these Xenomorphs even trying? But then patches came swooping in, tweaking alien antics and making things way less “same-old, same-old.”
Now fast forward, Survios is saying this new version, revamped or whatever, is landing on Steam and the PlayStation Store. September 30th, 2025. Mark your calendars, or, you know, forget it and be surprised later.
So, there’s this character, Zula Hendricks, right? Ex-Colonial Marine. I feel like she’s got issues with Weyland-Yutani, just a guess. She’s out sneaking around their secretive lab stuff with her synth buddy, Davis 01. Doesn’t this sound a bit like sneaking cookies in the middle of the night? But, uh, more dangerous with aliens and guns.
Wait, I got sidetracked. Survios is dropping Part One here and, surprise surprise, Part Two is cooking too. They teased about it last year. Bigger baddies, harder stuff. Classic cliffhanger vibes. But who even knows when Part Two is popping out? Feels like waiting for a bus that’s never on time.
And guess what? VR to flatscreen isn’t a new dance for Survios. Remember Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions from 2021? They flipped it from VR Creed: Rise to Glory. It went from this intense VR boxing to more of that button-mashing arcade thing. Anyway — oh man, I lost it — what was I saying? Ah, whatever. This flatscreen step feels like that, but with aliens instead of gloves. And maybe a lot more screaming.
