Sure thing, here goes:
So, Silent Hill 2 on PS5 Pro — yeah, that launch… kind of a bummer, right? Expectations were sky-high and then splat — tech issues everywhere. Fans have been waiting, hoping Konami and Bloober Team would do a bit of wizardry to make things right. But as it stands, doesn’t look like we’re getting those fixes anytime soon. Or maybe we are? Who even knows anymore?
Anyway, Eurogamer mentioned something about Bloober Team promising they’re on it — they’re “working with the publisher” on these glitches or whatever. But seriously, when can we actually expect changes? Dunno. It’s like trying to figure out if my cat really loves me or just my tuna sandwiches.
And Reddit, oh man, people there are losing it. I read this thread where someone kinda threw in the towel. Said the PS5 Pro version was supposed to be better but… it’s actually worse. Go figure. Someone else chimed in how the PC version isn’t much better with stuttering and whatnot. Maybe they just ditched those projects—spread too thin or something.
Oh, don’t get me wrong though. Despite all these hiccups, the game kinda rocked it at launch. Folks grabbed it up like candy, a million copies in no time. So yeah, messed up but still loved? It’s like that one weird uncle who always brings the best stories to dinner—annoying but essential.
If you’re curious, Silent Hill 2 is hanging out on PS5 and PC. The Standard Edition is $69.99—classic, no frills. But if you’re feeling fancy, there’s the Deluxe Edition for $79.99. Comes with digital goodies and even a Pyramid Head pizza box mask… because who doesn’t need one of those, right?
Anyway, back to waiting. Or not waiting. Whatever.
