Hey, so August 15th rolls around, right? Big deal in Italy. Like, fireworks and stuff? Anyway, it’s also when my little blog baby was born. Yep, August 15th, 2016. Thanks, Tommaso Di Bartolo, you entrepreneurial wizard. My first post? Total trash. But hey, look at us now – 9 years in!
First off, massive shoutout to you all. Blogging’s tough, man. Especially when it’s about VR. I’m not swimming in cash here. Honestly, sometimes I think, why bother? But the love, the cheers from you awesome folks kept me going. And hearing how my rambles actually helped some of you find investors or get going with XR stuff in Unity? Mind blown. It’s like, wow, my words did that.
Anyway – no, hold up – where was I? Oh right, you guys rock. What I dig most about blogging (apart from the cool XR developer thing I do) is meeting so many rad people. Traveled loads, met loads. Seriously, the face-to-face vibes? That’s the real magic, not all this virtual jazz.
So, because you guys are epic, I dish out special content every blog birthday. This time? Buckle up. Got to chat with “The Reverend” Kyle Riesenbeck from Upload VR. Dude’s someone I’ve admired since my XR debut. We yapped on about VR, journalism, the wild Upload days. Total blast. It’s not out now – everyone’s off sunbathing in August – but here’s a sneaky peek. Kyle spills on “good old VR days” (which I guess we’re still in? whatever, older ‘good days’). Check it out:

Wild, huh? Can’t wait for you guys to dive into that chat. Also, yay, 9 years! Seriously though, where’s my cake? No durian, I beg you.
