Alright, so here we go. German influencer peeps, Instinct3, yeah, they’re jumping into this whole gaming thing with Sidekick. It’s supposed to be like, the one-stop-shop for indie and, uh, kinda mid-sized game folks. Their first big thing? Drumroll… Deadly Days: Roadtrip. Sounds intense, right?
Leading this are Jasmin Oestreicher and Melvin Frank. No clue why I remember their names, but there you go. Instinct3 isn’t new to this rodeo, they’ve kinda dabbled with stuff like 9 Kings and TerraScape before. I mean, it’s not like gaming is an alien planet for them or anything.
Jasmin was all like, “Experience is gold, ten years of it, blah blah. But hey, clinging to old wins can make you a dinosaur.” Especially in gaming, where folks sniff out phony stuff like that leftover sushi in the fridge you forgot about. Bold ideas and sticking around for the long game, that’s her jam.
Then Melvin jumps in, throwing wisdom left and right. He’s learned a thing or two, apparently. Each project’s like a mini crash course in what sticks and what needs an overhaul. So now, they’ve got this grand vision — making Sidekick the lifeline for indie game creators. No pressure, right? It’s all about finding those games that scream “Yes!” to their vibe and just nailing it with every launch.
And… that’s where I got lost daydreaming about tacos. Anyway, sounds like big ambitions here, and who knows, maybe they’ll change the game. Or at least keep us guessing.
